Ridgewater to Host Community Health Fairs

Live a healthier lifestyle by connecting with resources and vendors at the Ridgewater Community Health Fair set for 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on November 7 at the Hutchinson campus and November 14 at the Willmar campus. These events are free and open to the public.
听鈥淲e decided to move the long-standing spring event to fall in hopes that students, staff and community members might gain exposure to great local resources to improve their focus on healthy habits as we enter Minnesota鈥檚 winter and holiday seasons,鈥 said Heather Marcus, the Ridgewater Student Life coordinator in Hutchinson.
听鈥淚n addition to some of the mainstay topics of weight management, fitness, and chiropractic care, we鈥檒l also have some new resources such as nutrition shakes, mental health support, and family planning assistance,鈥 added Angela Haas, Willmar鈥檚 Student Life coordinator.
听The two-hour events will include more than 20 vendors and agency resources, door prizes, free samples, and a grand prize drawing. Prizes will be given every 30 minutes, with the grand prize drawing at 12:30 p.m. (Need not be present to win.)
